Growing up, I believed a high-paying job and a prestigious career in healthcare were the keys to fulfillment. Driven by this mindset, I became a Family Physician and moved to Canada with my wife in 2011.
Reality, however, was far from what we expected. To make ends meet, we worked retail jobs while I took on extra shifts, overtime, and holiday hours to earn more. Despite the effort, the higher taxes meant my additional earnings barely made a difference. What I truly lost was time—precious moments I could have spent with my family.
It became clear that I didn’t want to spend decades trading time for money, sacrificing life’s irreplaceable moments. Time, I realized, is a luxury best shared with loved ones.
In 2021, my life took a turn when I joined Greatway part-time, inspired by friend, my mentors journey. This opportunity not only provided financial stability but also allowed us to prioritize what truly mattered—spending quality time together, traveling, and embracing a more fulfilling life.
